Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 26, 2026
Ringtone Maker is built around local ringtone editing, with optional cloud services for Sign in with Apple, credits, and AI generation. This policy explains what information the app uses, what may be sent to Ringtone Maker services or trusted providers, and how you can control it.
Information Ringtone Maker Uses
- Imported media and local ringtones: Audio, video, edits, previews, and saved ringtone files are processed on your device for local editing and export unless you choose to share them or use a cloud-backed feature.
- Apple sign-in data: If you sign in, Ringtone Maker receives an Apple identity token and may receive the email address or display name Apple provides. The server stores the Apple user identifier needed to maintain your app session.
- Credit and purchase data: RevenueCat processes App Store purchase metadata, product identifiers, credit balances, and a Ringtone Maker app user identifier so the app can deliver and spend AI credits.
- AI prompts and settings: When you request AI generation, your prompt, recipe choices, duration, vocal settings, and related generation metadata are sent to Ringtone Maker services and trusted AI providers.
- Generated audio: Successful AI generations are stored temporarily so your signed-in app can download the result into the editor. Generated audio expires automatically after the retention period shown in the app.
- Support messages: If you contact support, we receive the email address, message content, and any details you choose to include.
Trusted Providers
Ringtone Maker uses Cloudflare to host public pages, API routes, databases, queues, and temporary generated audio storage; Apple for Sign in with Apple and App Store purchases; RevenueCat for credit and purchase management; and AI providers such as Google and MiniMax to generate audio when requested.
How Information Is Used
- To import, edit, preview, save, export, and share ringtones on your device.
- To create and maintain secure sessions for signed-in users.
- To show credit balances, validate purchases, and deduct credits after successful AI generation.
- To process AI generation requests and make generated audio available for download.
- To diagnose reliability issues, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.
Local Files
Ringtone Maker does not upload your locally imported audio, video, or saved ringtone library just because you edit or save it in the app. iOS file access, sharing, and deletion controls remain under your device and Apple account settings.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local app data remains on your device unless you delete it, reset app data, remove the app, or share/export files yourself. Server sessions and credit records are retained as needed to operate your account, credits, security, and support. Generated AI audio is retained temporarily and then expires automatically. App Store and RevenueCat purchase records may be retained as needed for billing, fraud prevention, tax, legal, and platform obligations.
Your Choices
- You can choose whether to import files, share exports, or request AI generation.
- You can sign out of the app to revoke the current server session.
- You can manage App Store purchases through Apple account settings.
- You can delete local ringtones and app data from your device.
- You can contact us for privacy questions or help with server-side account data.
